Tyler's Birthday Weekend

Last weekend we celebrated Tyler's birthday in a big way! Tyler's mom and step dad, Rhonda and Kip, surprised him with tickets to the UK basketball game. He had no idea that he was going! We told him we had a small dinner planned at a restaurant with a few of his friends to watch the game there. We met Kip and Rhonda at their hotel that morning, and that is when he opened his birthday card from them and found out we were headed to the game! I will never forget the look on his face! Rhonda and Kip couldn't have gotten him a better gift! After the game, we enjoyed a delicious dinner at P.F. Changs, one of Ty's favorite restaurants. Here are a few pictures from the game. My parents and I got Tyler some UK outfits and a couple of things from Country Club Prep. He wore one of the shirts we got him to the game, and he looked so cute! I wrapped the gifts in UK wrapping paper. Can you tell this guy loves the Kentucky Wildcats?!

After all the excitement from the big game, I didn't think the weekend could get any better, but it did! Tyler and I finally decided on a home to move into after we are married! We have been house hunting for a couple of months, and it seemed like we were never going to find something we both liked. After I saw this house, I knew it was perfect for us! I think it took me all of ten minutes to decide it was the one. Hopefully I will be able to share some before and after pictures with you soon! Spoiler alert: there is a magnolia tree in the backyard. That makes my little southern heart so happy!
